Trilogy Helps Kids Mark the 20th Anniversary of 9/11

To mark the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, Context Productions LLC donated 600 sets of the Discovering Heroes^® trilogy to the Detective Rafael Ramos Foundation’s 6th Annual Backpack Giveaway.

Each backpack contained back-to-school supplies and a copy of each of the three books in the series, a total of 1800 books were provided. The backpacks were distributed to elementary school children in grades K-5 in New York City.

The Detective Rafael Ramos Foundation’s event helps kids to have positive first encounters with police officers each year and carries forward the legacy of Detective Rafael Ramos, who was assassinated in his marked police vehicle with his partner, Wenjian Liu. The two men were killed for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) uniforms they proudly wore. Both men were everyday heroes, just like the heroes Kristie Kiernan Bouryal writes about in the Discovering Heroes^® trilogy.

Context Productions LLC is grateful for the opportunity to participate in this event and to reach more kids during this 20th Anniversary year of 9/11.

As a nation, we vowed to Never Forget, but to do that, we must educate future generations.
